How To Erase Everything on Android Permanently?

Step 1. Install dr.fone and connect your phone.

Download and install dr.fone on your computer. Launch it and select Erase among all the functions.

Connect your Android phone or tablet to the computer using a USB cable. To ensure a successful connection, you need to turn on USB Debugging on your device first.

On Android 2.3 or earlier: tap on Settings > Applications > Development. Check the box next to USB Debugging.

On Android 3.0 to 4.1: tap on Settings > Developer Options. Check the box next to USB Debugging.

On Android 4.2 or later: tap on Settings > About Phone, and tap Build Number 7 times to enable the developer mode. In this case, your device informs you of the same with the message "You are under developer mode". Go back to the Settings > Developer Options, and check the box next to USB Debugging.

Step 2. Erase all data on Android device.

Once dr.fone recognizes your Android device, click on the Erase All Data button.

Following the process, all data on your Android device will be wiped out permanently. You need to type in the word "delete" to confirm the operation beforehand.

Wait until dr.fone erases all data on your Android device.

Step 3. Perform Factory Data Reset on your device

After everything is wiped, dr.fone will ask you to perform factory reset on your phone to permanently erase all personal settings on the phone.

Now everything has been completely wiped on your phone and no data recovery software can recover any data from it.
