dr.fone - Root (Android): How To

Part 1. How to Root Android device?

Step 1. Install dr.fone and connect your Android device.

Install and launch dr.fone on your computer. Select Root from all the functions.

Enable USB debugging on your Android device and connect it to the computer. If your Android device runs on Android 4.2.2 or above, you will see a popup on the device screen, tap on OK to allow USB debugging. Then dr.fone will connect your device instantly.

Step 2. Root your Android device.

Once the device is connected, click "Start" on dr.fone so that it can detect the device and find the proper rooting package to root the device.

After the device is detected, click on "Root Now" to begin rooting your device.

Part 2. How to Unroot Android device?

Once having rooted your device, dr.fone will provide an option to unroot it.

Step 1. Launch dr.fone and select the Root function. Connect your rooted device to the computer. dr.fone will start detecting the device rooting status.

Step 2. Click on the Unroot button to unroot your device. After a few minutes, your device will go back to the unrooted status.
